What do you do when you pass a guy in the hallway?

I'm 13 and I was just wondering what I should do when I pass this guy in the hallway...he's in more of the "popular" group, and for some reason I ALWAYS see him in the hallway...like 5 times a day (okay, maybe 3) but like he usually looks at me or just stairs straight ahead...whenever I pass him I get nervous and don't know what to do so I look like to the side or in my backpack or something...what should I dooo? Oh he's also in my lunch...I don't necessarily wanna say hi to him cuz tht might be a little awkward lol...what do you think I should do when I pass him or see him at lunch? No stupid comments!!
