What does this dream mean?

Last night I dreamt I was getting chased by this girl that goes to my school. She was holding a bat and seemed to be catching up with me. I then decided to stop running, which is when i randomly found a tree branch for defense. we started swingin at each other but we both missed. next thing i know we are just talking like nothing happened and it was more than ive ever talked to her in my life. In reality, i find her very attractive but dont have a crush on her. I usually hear that if you have dreams of being chased it means you are pushing something away in your life so why did i decide to confront her, it obviously didnt end up bad. What does this mean in reality
