There was this random girl.?

I was sitting pretty far from her when I sat down in one of the hallway chairs in my college. She was talking to her friend facing my direction. I didn't notice one of my things fell as I was taking stuff out of my backpack. She then started to approach me and picked up my stuff. I mean most girls wouldn't do that. It was pretty unexpected. Isn't that the man's job (no offense)? Was she being nice?
