What shots are necessary for a young kitten?

I have owned cats almost my hole life and have never gotten shots for any of our cats, they can make a cat sick, shots, and drugs and vaccinations are all very bad, my lil bro and I are the healthiest out of all 7 of my brothers and sister and my lil bro and i are the only 2 who never got a shot in our life's, yet my big bro got cancer from a shot, and my other big bro is 22 and has the brain of a 2 year old from a measles shot, so if you cat is a indoor cat i'd get no shots for it, if its outdoor or indoor and outdoor i'd maybe get a rabies shot for it, hope that helps.
